Transformative Engineering, an innovative black box solutions provider, announced today it has been awarded a DPL Labs Seal of Approval for its model HLE-4K, an HDMI 2.0 extender. The company says this is the second Seal of Approval its products have been awarded by DPL Labs, a testing and certification organization.
Audio Control announced this week the availability of its new high performance HDBaseT extenders that allow installers and integrators the ability to safely and successfully run HDMI signals over long distances reliably. The company has been in the audio/video extender (baluns) business for some time now, with these new models – the HDBT-S1 and HDBT-R1 – pushing the performance edge.

The HDBaseT Alliance, an organization formed to promote the HDBaseT technology and grow its market, announced today that Sony Corporation will join the group as a Contributor member. One of their biggest “gets” yet, Sony is said to be introducing new energy-efficient HD projectors with the HDBaseT functionality.
