Well-known and respected industry executive Peter Wellikoff has been appointed to the newly created position of Managing Director at Atlantic Technology. Wellikoff’s appointment was effective as of July 1st.
Hi-Fi Representation, a new manufacturer sales representative firm covering Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas, has signed representation agreements with Atlantic Technology and Seymour Screen Excellence. The company was launched in January 2020 and says Seymour-Screen Excellence is actually one of their first lines represented.
Atlantic Technology, known for years for its high quality/high value loudspeakers designs, announced this week the launch of its first ever headphone, the FS-HAL1. True to their positioning in the market, the FS-HAL1 is a high-performance model targeted at music lovers and Hi-Fi enthusiasts who value better sound quality in an affordably-priced, convenient in-ear monitor design.
We have confirmed that Peter Tribeman, one of the founding partners and long time President of Atlantic Technology International, will leave the company at the end of this month. It is the end of a 28-year career there and, as we’ve learned, has been in the works for about eighteen months.
Atlantic Technology, the specialty loudspeaker manufacturer home theater and architectural audio speakers based in Norwood, MA, announced this week that it has appointed Mike Miller its National Sales Manager. Miller, an experienced industry veteran, joins a company noted for its targeted, strategic products and leads the charge in driving national adoption of its solutions.
Atlantic Technology announced this week that it is launching a new line of home theater and music speakers, including a unique product they call a “front-stage” speaker which resembles a traditional soundbar, but is passive. All models are based on the same drivers, so that whether used separately or together, the sound is fully timber-matched for consistent imaging and sound quality.
One of the bigger stories in our industry is Dolby Labs introduction of a new surround sound system they call Dolby Atmos. Launched at CE Week in New York City this past June, Atmos has already attracted a number of predominantly electronics manufacturers supporting the system in their latest models. Now the selection of Atmos products expands with new product introductions by both Triad Speakers and Atlantic Technology.
<May 16, 2012> Russound announced today that it has retained the OAC Group to work with the company on a variety of product and marketing projects. The announcement follows the company’s recent divestiture of Colorado vNet – selling it to Russound’s former Vice President of Sales Mike Anderson.
