AudioControl announced today that it has appointed Oceanic Distribution as its distributor for Australia. Based in Seattle, WA, AudioControl has long pursued a global distribution strategy. This new appointment will drive its business in Australia, a strong AV market in its own right.

Fyne Audio, a U.K. manufacturer of advanced high-end audio loudspeakers based in Scotland, has appointed Harmonia Distribution as its distributor for the United States market, effective immediately. Harmonia, formerly known as Upscale Distribution, said in an announcement that it is proud to have been selected by Fyne, a manufacturer that represents a blend of the best of “contemporary and traditional designs.”
Upscale Distribution, a distributor of high-end, high-fidelity audio components that originated in association with Southern California retailer Upscale Audio, has announced that it is rebranding as Harmonia Distribution. The new brand is not just a new name, but rather a reflection of a changed mission and new, more independent direction for the company.
As part of this new business model, the company has named a new president who will guide the Harmonia Distribution down this new path.
Audio America, Inc., the surviving entity that merged with Next Level Distribution and Next Level Fulfillment has filed formal paperwork for an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC), a form of receivership, with the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida. The move was widely rumored but only confirmed Tuesday. Also joining in this ABC is another entity known as Ecomhalo, LLC, a related company.

Barely out of CEDIA Expo 2023, Snap One announced this week that it has launched six new warehouse locations they call local partner stores, further filling out its national distribution footprint. The company also said it will finish 2023 having hosted no fewer than 400 events – a prodigious effort at connecting with its customers, the local integrators.
Next Level Distribution is reportedly planning to shut down operations after it completes the liquidation of its existing inventory, according to multiple reports. The multi-location distributor/fulfillment house of major brands of automotive and residential electronics was founded in 1993, first under the name of Audio America. In 2020 it changed its name to Next Level Distribution.
Firenze, Italy-based high-end audio manufacturer Gold Note announced this week that it has selected Fidelity Imports as its exclusive U.S. importer and distributor. According to Gold Note’s announcement, the appointment will take effect starting April 1, 2023.
