Sonance, a powerful leading brand in architectural audio products geared to the custom integration channel, says that this new addition to its sales team is a “strategic” one that dramatically demonstrates its continuously expanding presence in the luxury residential audio space. And luxury residential is a space that, from its very foundation in the early 1980s, it has been instrumental in driving the growth of thanks to a never-ending series of innovative products.
Kungl comes to Sonance from Bosch Home Appliances (BSH) where he was Senior Vice President of the Dishwashers Business Unit. The announcement from Sonance says that while at BSH, Kungl “demonstrated exceptional ability in driving strategic direction, commercial execution, and innovation within the premium appliance sector.”
A Strong Strategy and Business Development Background
Prior to this role at BSH, he was the company’s Head of Strategy and Business Development for just under five years. Says Sonance, in that role, Kugl “successfully led corporate strategy initiatives that strengthened BSH’s market position.”
Tyler’s proven track record in luxury residential products and his strategic approach to business development make him an ideal fit for advancing our mission of audio that is designed to disappear. His expertise in navigating complex business landscapes while fostering long-term partnerships throughout the value chain aligns perfectly with Sonance’s commitment to authentic partnership.

A Background That Includes Management Consulting
Earlier in his career, Kungl worked in management consulting for Deloitte and perhaps because of that, he appears to bring a strong strategic focus on business development to all of his roles. In fact, the Sonance announcement points to this acumen as well, saying “His background in management consulting brings valuable perspective to Sonance’s growth initiatives in the evolving luxury residential market.”
Joining Sonance represents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the advancement of luxury living through invisible technology. The company’s heritage of innovation combined with a commitment to authentic partnerships provides a powerful foundation for transforming audio’s ability to seamlessly blend with design. I’m thrilled with the opportunity to contribute to this legacy as we continue to elevate how life is better with music.

Just Another Example of the Company’s Expanding Market Support
A while back, I reported on the company’s expanding roster of personnel in its Pro Audio division, yet another key market for the brand that it is committed to delivering greater dealer support. But clearly, the company is not taking its eye off the ball for luxury residential sales, as the appointment of Kugl clearly demonstrates.
This is just one of the reasons why Sonance remains a leader in the custom integration space.
