Horns Now Available from Chane Music and Cinema

July 14, 2016 by Ted Leave a Comment

Photo of Universum modelA dramatic new high-end line of loudspeakers, Horns by Auto-Tech, is now available from Chane Music and Cinema, the newly appointed North American distributor/retailer for the brand. The brand offers five different systems, each of which features the use of “well-tried” horn technology. Paul Klipsch would be proud!

Although Chane Music and Cinema calls themselves a distributor of Horns by Auto-Tech, they are actually selling this product direct to consumers on their website at what they call “distributor-direct pricing.” This should allow consumers to get an even better price on this high-end line.

As we said, there are five systems, three known as the “FP” series, including the FP6, FP10, and FP15, which all use what the company calls an exclusive SEOS rounded-rectangular horn. Auto-Tech’s SEOS horn is said to be cast in an “inert, non-resonant synthetic concrete” for resonance-free performance.

Stepping up from FP, we have the “Mummy” system, which is not as scary as it sounds. The Mummy has a unique round waveguide, which is said to provide all the benefits of a horn, but in a more compact configuration.

Top-of-the-line is the remarkable “Universum.” The Universum is not only stunning visually, but it is said to offer a combination of horn-loading and active bass that is not replicated by any other speaker (in the world, they claim).

All Horns models are made-to-order and custom finishes are available. Customers can simply go to www.chanemusiccinema.com, click on Horns by Auto-Tech, select their desired model, and place their order.
