Audio Advice, a prominent smart home retailer and custom integrator based in Raleigh, North Carolina, announced today that it has acquired Sound Components, another well-known AV integrator based in Miami, Florida. This move joins two well-respected and popular integration industry players into one large multi-market integration business.

This is not Audio Advice’s first acquisition. Recently, the company acquired The Sound Room, another highly respected retailer/integrator in St. Louis, MO. The company has also expanded its existing brand to other markets as well. It now boasts locations in Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Wilmington, NC; Nashville, TN; St. Louis, MO; Las Vegas, NV; and now, with the Sound Components acquisition added, Miami, FL.

Audio Advice’s announcement says that Sound Components will continue operating at its existing South Miami location, “…with its current team providing the same high level of service and expertise.” However, the company plans to more than double the size of the showroom space to better provide customers the first-hand experience with more lighting, shades, audio, video, and home theater.
The announcement also noted that Sound Components customers will gain access to Audio Advice’s nationwide team, award-winning online resources, design tools, and expanded product lines.
