Sonance, a long-time leading manufacturer of custom integration gear valued by integrators all around the world, has announced its plans for the Integrated Systems Europe Show 2026 (ISE) taking place now in Barcelona, Spain. Key to the announcement is that the company will display in two different “stands” (the European name for a “booth”), one optimized for the professional/commercial channel and another optimized for the residential/marine channel.
The company also announced the launch an all-new, high-performance Ultra Thin-Line VX Speaker.

One thing unique about ISE is that it is an exhibition targeted for both commercial and residential custom integration products to an audience of largely European attendees, along with other attendees from elsewhere around the world. Gearing up for the big show this year, Sonance has decided to scale up its presence with two independent channel-optimized displays.
Sonance will Have Two Display Areas at ISE 2026
For years, many brands dealt with this dichotomy by fielding one large stand, which is then divided by business channel. This doesn’t always work well as it sometimes creates weird traffic patterns around the booth, and attendees can get confused on how to find the item they need to see, within your booth!

Sonance says its new Professional stand in Hall 7, Stand 7K700 is designed and dedicated to serving the needs of its extensive commercial and professional integrator audience. The company will show its extensive portfolio of Sonance Professional solutions.
This display will feature not only the latest Sonance Professional Series products, but also the latest releases from its popular IPORT line. The company will also have on display interactive digital content that will aid attendees in understanding the technical advantages of the Sonance, Blaze, James, and IPORT professional models.
The company also says visitors to the new professional display will find, “Focused conversations around the Sonance Professional approach to transforming professional spaces with aesthetically integrated audio systems built on performance, innovation, and trusted partnerships.”
Sonance Residential and Marine Solutions, Hall 2 Stand 2H500; Featuring a New Ultra Thin-Line VX Speaker
Of course, most readers are already familiar with Sonance’s leading position in the residential channel. At ISE 2026 in Hall 2, Stand 2H500, the company will show both its residential solutions and its marine solutions as well. The company’s presence at the event will serve as a hub for strategic dealer support and an elevated client experience.
Sonance will also show available tools to help dealers better define and sell audio not just as a product, but as a crucial element in creating elevated experiences in luxury home and marine installations.

Spotlight ISE: Sonance’s All-New VX52R UTL Ultra Thin-Line VX Speaker
Sure to be a big hit at ISE 2026 at the Sonance residential stand is the World Premiere of the company’s all-new VX52R UTL speaker. The VX52R UTL is an ultra-thin in-ceiling speaker that delivers VX Series performance in situations where mounting depth is limited. By the way, that is a common issue in Europe and other markets, where sometimes old-world building construction standards leave little room for mounting speakers. But integrators around the world occasionally run into this issue in specific situations.
The VX52R UTL is just 35.7mm (1.41″) in mounting depth – a stunning achievement, especially when you consider it is part of the VX high-performance line delivering high-fidelity sound in very cramped quarters. There are some other brands with thin-mount solutions, but these usually are de-featured, lower-grade performance models – a disappointing trade-off to make them thin.
Employs Same Performance-Enhancing Technologies as the VX Series
However, in the case of the VX52R UTL, no such trade-off has been made. Just like other standard-depth VX series models, the VX52R UTL employs the CDX Crossover (upgraded VX-series crossover) and the VX Sinusoidal Waveguide (for wider, more consistent coverage with minimal off-axis coloration). This new model also features a new-design 5¼” polypropylene woofer combined with a ¾” silk dome tweeter that together offer a smooth and extended frequency response of 55Hz-20kHz – despite its impossibly thin configuration.
In-ceiling speaker technology has been holding the industry to a requirement that is only suitable for some ceiling depths. The VX52R UTL presents a breakthrough for architectural speaker design that brings premium performance to shallow construction. We’ve applied our VX Series engineering approach to solve real-world installation problems without sacrificing the sound quality, exactly the kind of solution that dealers and their clients have come to expect from Sonance.
