Sonance, a leading manufacturer of custom integration A/V gear for both residential and commercial channels, has announced it will be showing several new products and tools at InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas, NV, running this week from June 12-June14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The first thing that caught my eye in the company’s formal announcement is that it is launching a specially designed commercial version of its spectacular Design Gallery solution. This cloud-based Commercial Design Center solution was years in the making and the residential version has been quite popular with resi integrators.
An All-New Commercial Design Gallery
Now, commercial integrators have access to a special version known as the Commercial Design Gallery, a solution tailored to the specific needs of commercial integrators, consultants, and other specifiers. The result is a solution that, as the company puts it, “empowers integrators and consultants to present Sonance and James audio solutions tailored to the unique design and construction of their projects, focusing on the client’s vision rather than just the product.”
Sonance will have a fully operable version of the Commercial Design Gallery in their booth, so Infocomm attendees can check it out, going hands-on to see for themselves why this tool has been so helpful to those on the resi side. The company notes that “Visitors will experience audio solutions for ceilings, walls, displays, and outdoor environments, as well as an array of hidden bass augmentation options suitable for any commercial setting.”
VXQ Speakers, Perfect for Commercial Integrators
Also new at InfoComm 2024 is the latest VXQ range of in-ceiling and in-wall speakers. This latest series from the company features the dramatic advance of its QuadraTech tweeter array with the all-new Cymatic diffuser technology. A big advance in speaker design in terms of sonic performance, VXQ also delivers capabilities and durability that render it perfect for just about any commercial space.
For example, VXQ is ingress protection rated at IP67, meaning that the product is suitably protected against incursion from dust and dirt, as well as water. This makes the VXQ series suitable for a wide variety of installation scenarios and commercial environments.
Also, VXQ speakers can be ordered with your choice of either a standard Micro Trim grille or a trim-less grille. Not only that, but the company offers VXQ in a variety of standard colors at no additional charge. Finally, the series can be configured with an enclosure and/or a 70-volt transformer to meet specific commercial application requirements.

The new Sonance website will also offer visitors quick access to detailed specifications and downloadable resources important to commercial integrators and consultants.
