(Savant), a leading smart home and smart energy solutions provider, has been selected by real estate developer U.S. Development to be the exclusive smart home technology provider for two of its ultra-luxury residential complexes. These two complexes are both based in Florida, and they are Salato Pompano Beach and Viceroy Residences Clearwater Beach.

As one of the leading control, smart home, and smart power brands in custom integration, it is not too surprising to see it selected as the smart home provider for a real estate development company. However, the partnership here with U.S. Development is specifically targeted at a pair of self-described ultra-luxury condo developments in Florida. Also, the depth of the program looks to transcend other similar types of partnerships I’ve previously seen with other brands.
Salato Pompano Beach is a 40-residence complex that aspires to set the benchmark for boutique coastal living. The building was designed by Randall Stofft Architects, with interior luxury living spaces designed by Interiors by Steven G. Unit sizes range from 2,106 sq. ft. to 3,354 sq. ft. Individual units are priced from $2.0 million to $5.25 million, with just a handful of units remaining.
Luxury Residences Offering the Finest of Contemporary Styling
Viceroy Residences Clearwater Beach is said to be the area’s first new luxury offering in more than two decades. It features 86 residences in a contemporary style. The complex also features more than 25,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor amenities. Developers say homeowners will also enjoy “world-class, hospitality-inspired services.” Like at Salato, Randall Stofft Architects and Interiors by Steven G. combined to create a home that feels like a resort.

Homeowners are Offered a Full-Featured Savant Smart Home Package
As part of this program, Salato & Viceroy homeowners will be offered a full-featured Savant smart home package that is based on one of its latest innovations, a complete Savant host system discretely residing inside a wall-installed keypad. Known as the Savant CE Proseo Keypad Host, looking at it, you would never know that it is housing a power-packed smart home system with the capability to deliver: up to 200 loads of lighting and shade control, a stream of Savant Music, 6 A/V zones, and whole-home integration spanning security, cameras, locks, climate, energy, and more.
Not only that, but this unseen magic box also offers homeowners access to Savant’s conversational AI home assistant. This home assistant, Savant says, is based on an advanced LLM (large language model) and the Savant API, which allows homeowners to interact with the system in more than 48 languages to control, discover, and personalize every aspect of their home.
Standard Technology Package to be Offered
Homeowners will be offered both a “standard” package and the ability to extend that and customize it via a wide range of options. Here is the standard package:
- Savant in-wall OLED touch screens for whole-home control
- Savant Music access with three rooms of premium Harman/JBL in-ceiling speakers
- GE Proseo motorized deluxe shades in three bedrooms and the living room
- CE Proseo intelligent lighting control throughout all rooms
- Smart door lock control for easy access and enhanced security
- WiFi access points and a network switch to ensure robust connectivity
- Two 55″ state-of-the-art televisions and easy-to-use Savant remotes
The company also notes that users will be encouraged to download the Savant app, which also integrates with the Daikin FIT smart HVAC system installed in all units. This will enable universal control of the system, appliances, and devices in the home. Users will also gain access to usability insights, set schedules, set operation mode, and set-point temperatures from their sofa or while away from home.
But Wait, There’s More!… Homeowners Get Options
Homeowners will also be offered the opportunity to expand their specific system, or further customize it for their individual taste via a carefully curated collection of options. Some of these options include (but are not limited to) motorized drapery, optional premium shade fabrics, outdoor entertainment packages, Savant smart oven, GE Proseo tunable lighting fixtures and ceiling fan control. Users can also purchase additional touch panels.
Savant says these smart home systems installed throughout the property “are engineered to provide residents with enhanced convenience, personalized comfort, and reliable performance while maintaining a clean, elegant aesthetic that complements the residences’ contemporary design.”
