Klipsch Partners with Marvel Animation as Official Home Speaker of X-Men ’97

March 21, 2024 by Ted Leave a Comment

Leading consumer speaker brand Klipsch announced this week that it is partnering with Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 as the official home speakers for the series which launched on Disney+ Wednesday. If you have kids, you likely know the popularity of the X-Men franchise, which with this new series looks to trade on that popularity to the benefit of both partners.

Learn more about this X-Men ’97 & Klipsch partnership

X-Men ’97 is an all-new superhero series that harkens to the Marvel franchise’s iconic era of the 1990s. For those who don’t know, the X-Men are a band of mutants who have developed various “uncanny gifts” (aka superpowers) that they use to protect the world. Of course, their form factors are a little monstrous, so the world basically fears them, but they seek to protect it anyway.

This new series is produced with a design and style that echoes the look of the series back in the 90’s and Disney+ is hyping it with a two-episode launch. A total of ten new episodes are planned.

According to the Klipsch announcement, “This powerful collaboration unites two iconic brands – each the hero of its trade – to deliver the ultimate entertainment experience.”

Ah…marketing. Don’t ya just love it?!

The company adds that, like the X-Men, as “Keepers of the Sound” they have been “saving the world from bad audio since 1946.” OK…they are having a little fun with this. Over the course of the series, Klipsch plans on running a series of sweepstakes themed to the collaboration. Tune into the company’s social media channels and website for more details.
