Origin Acoustics announced this week that it has added well-known integration industry executive Jeff Brewer to its management team as Executive Vice President of Sales. Brewer will report to Marc Fisher, Origin’s President of Sales.

I am sure that many Strata-gee readers are well acquainted with Brewer. He has held key roles with several leading industry brands throughout his career. He has also appeared in multiple articles on Strata-gee.com, including one where I profiled him when he joined SoundTube Entertainment as Vice President of Sales, Residential. This was his most recent role before joining Origin.
Origin’s formal announcement said it was “thrilled to announce Jeff Brewer…” had joined the team. Brewer’s appointment, Origin said, “…represents a significant leap forward in the company’s aggressive expansion strategy…”
Extensive Industry Experience
As mentioned above, Brewer most recently was VP of Sales for SoundTube, a role he held since August 2024. Before SoundTube, Brewer spent more than a dozen years at industry leader Sonance as Vice President of Sales, involved with both the Sonance and the James Loudspeaker brands. During his tenure at Sonance, Jeff also served on the Advisory Board for Azione Unlimited, the national custom integration buying group.
Prior to Sonance, Brewer was a Vice President and Senior Director for leading industry consumer electronics retailer, Best Buy. At Best Buy, Jeff was involved in helping to build out the company’s business-channel division for almost thirteen years.
Coordinate with an Extensive Origin Sales Team
At Origin, Brewer will coordinate the various sales activities and dealer relationships with the company’s National and Regional Sales Vice Presidents, as well as oversee the activities of its national sales representative organization, Phoenix Marketing Group.
Jeff’s addition represents a major moment for Origin Acoustics. He brings proven leadership, a deep understanding of the CI channel, and a dedication to partnership and service. Combined with Marc’s strategic direction and the strength of our national sales organization, Jeff will help drive our next phase of product innovation, global expansion, and dealer support.

In addition to his extensive industry experience, Brewer holds a degree in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University. This, coupled with his direct, inside experience with the consumer electronics retail and custom integration dealer channels, is an unusual breadth of insight that will serve him well at Origin.
