Coastal Source, one of the industry’s leading providers of outdoor audio and lighting solutions announced this week that current President Jeff Poggi will be moving outside the company to take a new role as a consultant. The move will take place at the end of this current calendar year.

According to Coastal Source, as Poggi moves out to consulting, company co-founder Franco D’Ascanio – currently CEO – will take over Poggi’s President duties on an interim basis. The news was unexpected in some circles.
“Jeff has contributed a great deal to the growth of our company over the last 18 months he has been with us, first as a consultant and then as President,” D’Ascanio said today. “His contributions have put us in a position to achieve many of our long-term growth objectives and we look forward to his continued counsel as a strategic consultant on January 1st.”
