AVPro Global continues its rapid expansion with two major announcements this week, one in its MXnet Systems Group and another in Commercial Sales. Yet another sign of the company’s continued growth, AVPro Global continues to build out its infrastructure to better take advantage of market opportunities the company has identified.
The company has appointed Andy Herron and Deby Jimenez to its MXnet Systems Group and Jerrie Anderson to oversee the company’s commercial business development.

AVPro Global is continuing to build quite a stable of brands, including such companies as AVPro Edge, Bullet Train, Murideo, Thenaudio, and – added just last year – AudioControl Pro. All of these brands are embraced by the custom integration community and the company keeps deepening its relationship with integrators as it serves more and more of their needs.
AVPro Global: A Year of Infrastructure Building
And AVPro Global is having quite a year! In March, it announced the appointment of well-known industry veteran Mike “Sparky” Detmer as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. This was perhaps, in retrospect, a sign that the company was about to embark on a period of significant growth and would require an operations head to facilitate building the infrastructure and positioning the company to scale.
Then in June, Jeff Muray was named “Person of the Year” at InfoComm by Commercial Integrator Magazine. This was perhaps a sign that the industry was beginning to recognize that AVPro Global and its executive team were “on the move” in the industry this year.
MXnet Systems Group Expands
In August, the company announced the appointment of Kevin Wang as Vice President of MXnet Systems Group (MXSG). In this instance, this was an appointment from within the company, as Wang had joined the company back in 2020. Still, it showed that MXnet Systems Group – a newly formed specialty design and development business unit dedicated to expanding the AVPro Edge brand’s MXnet AV over IP product portfolio – was growing.
And that brings us to this week’s announcements, which include two more appointments in the MXnet Systems Group. AVPro Global announced the addition of Andy Herron and Deby Jimenez to the MXnet System Group team.
Herron Named Product Manager; Jimenez Appointed AV Sales Engineer
The company says that Andy Herron has been appointed Product Manager at MXnet Systems Group. In this role, Herron will focus on creating effective go-to-market strategies that will sustain double-digit growth in the AV over IP (AVoIP) space.
With a career that includes product management stints at QSC and WyreStorm Technologies, the company says that Herron has 15 years of experience in AV and networking product development to bring to MXSG. He is said to have launched numerous successful products at these companies and has served as a subject matter expert at industry events. Herron holds degrees in network and system administration from the State University of New York (SUNY).
Deby Jimenez has joined the group as AV Sales Engineer. In this role, Jimenez will focus on client engagement, delivering comprehensive presentations for Level 2 and Level 3 AVoIP systems to the AV consultant community, AV integration firms, and potential clients, showcasing the MXnet technical capabilities and value propositions.
The company says that Jimenez comes to her new role with more than 20 years of experience in professional AV, IT, and networking. She is said to be a seasoned AV Systems Engineer with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex AV systems, with expertise in IP networking. Her certifications include Crestron DMC-E-4K, Dante Masters, and AVPro Edge MXnet Certified Integrator & Designer.
Andy Herron and Deby Jimenez bring four decades of collective experience in AV over IP and networking technology applications. We are excited to add Andy’s and Deby’s know-how and professionalism to expand our MXnet Systems Group’s reach into more commercial systems applications.
