Jeff Murray, CEO of AVPro Global Holdings (parent of AudioControl), was named “Person of the Year” at InfoComm 2024 by Commercial Integrator (CI) magazine. Part of its CI Best awards program, Murray was selected as its first-ever Person of the Year, a new category for the award program.

Starting in 2011 as an online store by very technically savvy owners, AVPro rapidly expanded into making professional-grade system testing gear. These testing devices turned out to be invaluable tools for integrators and the company developed a strong reputation that helped to propel its business forward.

As CEO, Jeff Murray has built a growing organization whose team is dedicated to delivering best-in-class integrator solutions with state-of-the-art services and support. Murry credits the U.S. military for teaching him all about electronics and – perhaps even more importantly – about leadership. The company is based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where it maintains its headquarters and a manufacturing facility. The company also has facilities in St. Petersburgh, FL; Seattle, WA; Bratislava, Slovakia; and Shenzhen, China (both a factory and offices).
