As another year begins to wind down, it is fitting that we all pause, catch our breath, and reconnect with friends and family. The holidays are a time to relax and unwind…to recharge our batteries, so to speak.
See more of my thoughts as we head into the Thanksgiving break
It seems that since COVID-19 in 2020, our country has struggled to find some sense of equilibrium. Now four years later our political divisions only seem to have hardened and this always creates challenges as families with a variety of political views, come together to try to enjoy each other’s company.
In 2024, a presidential election year, we saw a population divided 50-50 between two opposing political philosophies. There was anger, violence, and distrust. However, now that the election is over, I remain hopeful that the anger and divisiveness will taper off and we can all go back to enjoying each other’s company for who we are, not just for what we believe.
In any event, I cannot close out this message without first telling you once again, that I am deeply thankful for Strata-gee’s sponsors, industry sources who bring me stories, and most importantly you, the reader. Without you, Strata-gee doesn’t exist. So thank you so much!
I also wish for you that as you gather for your holiday celebrations, you set aside any business stresses you face, as well as any other unimportant issues, to focus on just one thing – a warm gathering with friends and family to enjoy each other’s company.
I plan on a day of conversation, understanding, laughter, turkey, pumpkin pie…and football. I can’t wait! I hope you and your family will join me in celebrating the only thing that truly matters…your loved ones!
Happy Thanksgiving!! Wishing you safe travels, delicious food, and wonderful times!
