Goldman Sachs is an American multinational investment bank that was founded in 1869. It has grown to become the largest investment bank in the world (based on revenue) and is involved with a large number of companies and individuals in a wide range of industries. Once a year, it hosts an event for entrepreneurs called the Builders + Innovators Summit, a two-day conference for founders and CEOs of hypergrowth companies that features speeches, presentations, educational classes, and clinics on a variety of important topics in today’s business world.
This year’s B&I Summit discussed a range of topics, including the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI), navigating an evolving geopolitical landscape, the creator economy, and building enduring companies with adaptability and long-term vision. Honorees and attendees also discussed clean energy innovation and strategies for sustained business growth.
2025 Class of Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs Named at Builders + Innovators Summit
As part of this event, the Builders + Innovators Summit recognizes an annual class of exceptional entrepreneurs who are building and growing enduring businesses and advancing innovation across various industries. It was to this 2025 class of Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs that the organization named Hagan Kappler.
It must have felt like a full-circle moment for Kappler, as she actually started her career in a position at Goldman Sachs. I profiled Hagan late last year, as it was clear from Daisy’s early and rapid success that this was an extraordinary organization. It didn’t take long in our conversation for me to gain a sense of the unique blend of acumen and experience she possessed and how these attributes contributed to a different kind of approach…one that is uncommon in custom integration.

Having started my career at Goldman, this is a very special honor for me personally. I am thrilled on behalf of our entire team of our hard work over the past two years to build this beloved, national brand and be recognized among other top start-up companies.

Strong Growth in Two Short Years
Hagan Kappler and Dion Persson cofounded Daisy at the beginning of 2024 and, in short order, have built a major force in the custom integration industry. Daisy is a national franchise operation, as well as an acquirer of local custom integration operators. The company currently has 20 franchise locations and has another 17 company-owned locations.
It is likely this explosive growth that has brought Daisy and Kappler to the attention of the hosts of the Builders + Innovators Summit 2025.
Redefining Industry Paradigms
We are pleased to recognize Hagan as one of the most exceptional entrepreneurs of 2025. The Daisy team has not only built a successful enterprise, they are redefining industry paradigms. This year’s Summit has brought together many of the best business minds to talk about harnessing the full potential of AI and building the next generation of businesses.
