I read recently that a majority of Americans say their favorite time of the year is fall. I am a big fan of the changing of the seasons, and have always lived where there were four full seasons a year. Yes, I do like fall with its more moderate temperatures and colorful tree leaves…but my favorite season – hay fever aside – is spring.
And here we are!
Spring is a multisensory wonder. After a cold winter surrounded by nothing but gray skies and brown sticks (not to mention white snow) – instead of colorful summer foliage – spring brings a fantastical transformation. Take off your coats and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Let your eyes drink in the deep, rich, and refreshing blue skies with maybe a few white, puffy marshmallow clouds. Look around you at the deeply saturated green grass and a painter’s palette full of colorful flowers everywhere.
If you really stop and look at it…it is like a dream…
I want to take a moment to thank Strata-gee readers for their continued support. Now that we’re a quarter of the way through the year, it’s time for the spring holidays, where we all get a short break.
Whether you celebrate Easter, Passover, or any other holiday, we at Strata-gee wish you a safe and relaxing holiday surrounded by family and friends!
Ted
