The holidays are upon us and it is a good time to pause and reflect on the truly important things in life. See my short message below on Thanksgiving 2023…
My thoughts this Thanksgiving
Like all years, 2023 comes chock full of challenges that, if dwelled upon, could easily add mightily to life’s stressors. We have two major conflagrations – the wars in Ukraine and in Gaza – that continue to generate shocking news stories and heartbreaking photos of pain, injury, and death. One photo on the front page of the New York Times recently shook me to my core.
Here in the U.S., our political divide seems to be only worsening. The shocking rise in hate crimes all around the country is so disheartening. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Americans so divided.
All of which makes it more important than ever to set our differences aside, gather with friends and family, celebrate together, and share and enjoy our bounty. Let’s all count our blessings and share our love with all those around us.
Finally, to Strata-gee readers, let me say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your continued support, email, texts, phone calls, comments, tips, ideas, and suggestions.
